Red Flags in Spinal Pain

12th November 2014
Lecture Hall, 4/F Duke of Windsor Social Service Building, 15 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong

Back pain sufferers and carers are free to give their own interpretations of the causes: “Too much house work”; “manual stress”; “aging”; “Prolapse inter-vertebral disc”; “slipped segments” etc.

The complex anatomy related to the back are important for the analysis. Pathologies arising from the vertebral, vertebral joints, ligaments, spinal cord, spinal nerve, para-spinal muscles are all possibilities. Ways to differentiate the pathologies are important.

Treatment methods to deal with spinal pain are multiple. Are there commonalities?

What are the new thoughts on Spinal Pain?
